ANGELINA VARELA
Ms. Varela was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Ms.Varela has a vast knowledge on family
law and litigation. Ms. Varela is the assistant to Mr. Baez and case manager of the firm. You will
feel her knowledge and friendly persona from the moment that you walk through our doors.
If you need to talk to one of the attorneys, or you need some one to talk to , Ms. Varela will be
there for you.
Ms. Varelas duties are similar to those of legal assistants, except that her legal background has been
essential to the success for the clients of The Baez Law Firm, P.C.
As one of the legal assistant for the firm, Ms. Varela is the link between lawyers and the public,
that is why it is important that she is able to mix easily with people, be understanding and show
empathy. With her knowledge of human nature, patience, tact and empathy she definitely meets
the requirements in this career. An absolute necessity is that the work must be accurate., and
she does. Even typing errors can delay important matters and cause great financial loss, but Ms.
Varela takes care of them with precision and efficiency.
If you want to be a successful legal assistant, you've got to be good at communicating – both on
paper and over the phone or face-to-face. You need to use many of the office computer
programmes such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets and desk-top publishing. You
need to be flexible with your working arrangements and be able to prioritise your workload, and
Ms. Varela meets all of those listed.
